Daily Takeaway: I seemed to struggle to get distance with the driver today. I felt like I was hitting the ball well, hitting fairways, but no distance. I struggled a bit on the front, and shanked a few again. I turned it around on the back side, highlighted by a great par save on 14 after a horrible 47-yard drive — I followed it with a 200-yard 5-wood and a 115-yard pitching wedge to 4′ — but stumbled late with a bogey on 16 and missed a 10′ putt on 18, which would have snuck into the 70’s. Ended up with 8 pars and two birdies for the round.
