Course Conditions – First group out, so morning dew and wet, not much run in the fairways early. Rough was wet too, but that’s the trade-off on about 95% of rounds for playing in 2 to 2.5 hours — worth it.

Daily Takeaway: Went out +6 at the turn, then played the back in 2 under to save the day. Wasn’t clean — three penalty strokes, all missed right, with the iron approach on #7 and the driver on #8 both finding a watery grave. Front nine got away a little, but the back nine bailout kept it at a respectable 76.
