This is my mental filing cabinet. The goal here is simple: once a round is completed, it is stripped of its emotional weight and documented. It is ‘burned’ from my active memory and filed away. By offloading these details here, I clear the noise from my mind so I can reset for the next grind. This bin serves as an honest, raw record for my own review and for anyone interested in the unfiltered reality of this journey.

Readiness – 7 out of 10
Course Conditions – First group out, so morning dew and wet, not much run in the fairways early. Rough was wet too, but that’s the trade-off on about 95% of rounds for playing in 2 to 2.5 hours — worth it.

Daily Takeaway: Went out +6 at the turn, then played the back in 2 under to save the day. Wasn’t clean — three penalty strokes, all missed right, with the iron approach on #7 and the driver on #8 both finding a watery grave. Front nine got away a little, but the back nine bailout kept it at a respectable 76.

Daily Takeaway: Streaky golf all day, some good stretches and some bad. Managed 9 pars, but #7 claimed a ball in the water again for a double. Was in position to sneak into the 70s before bogeying the last 4 holes in a row to close it out.

Daily Takeaway: A weird one — didn’t feel like a great ball-striking day, but turned in a 40 and picked up two birdies on the back. A double on 18 was the only real blemish; without it, this would’ve been a much lower number than the 78 I ended up with.

Daily Takeaway: Managed 10 pars and a birdie but still walked off disappointed — a rough stretch from 8 through 14 cost 8 over on its own, which put a real dent in an otherwise solid round.
Shot of the day: Same hole, same pin, one day later — 1 foot short this time. Two days in a row within a couple feet on that par 3.
